Can I return my order? How do I do it?

If you would like to exchange a product purchased on our online store, please fill out our contact form including the order number and the following information:

We ship globally. Due to the high demand that our products are currently having our estimated delivery window ranges from 5 to 20 business days. Please, note that the delivery time is based on working days and not on calendar days.

What do we know about blue light?
Blue light is a color in the "visible light spectrum" that can be seen by the human eye. Blue light is actually everywhere. When outside, the light from the sun travels through the atmosphere. The shorter, high energy blue wavelengths collide with the air molecules causing blue light to scatter everywhere. This is what makes the sky look blue.
Within the visible part of the electromagnetic spectrum (wavelengths from about 400nm to about 700nm) the principle “troublemaker” is short wavelength light (violet and blue light) from about 400nm to about 500nm. It is usually referred to simply as blue light.
Is blue light bad for humans?
In its natural form, your body uses blue light from the sun to regulate your natural sleep and wake cycles. This is known as your circadian rhythm.Blue light also helps boost alertness, heighten reaction times, elevate moods, and increase the feeling of well being.
Sources of blue light include the sun, digital screens (TVs, computers, laptops, smartphones, and tablets), electronic devices, and fluorescent and LED lighting.
Although the light emitted by personal electronic devices is not bright enough to damage the human retina, it is able to stimulate blue-light-sensitive ganglion cell photoreceptors that regulate circadian rhythms. As a result, cellular telephone, tablet and personal computer use before bedtime can delay sleep onset, degrade sleep quality and impair alertness the following day. Extended use of these devices is also suspect to cause symptoms of dry eyes, blurred vision, and headaches.

What can I do about it?

What makes your glasses special? How are they different from night-shift mode on cell phones and tablets?
Cell phones and tablets night shift mode just slightly decrease the harmful blue light exposure, they do not do much. We have been working very hard on developing special lenses that block 85% of the harmful portion of blue light. In addition, there are many other sources of bad blue light like TV´s or LED lights at home, so wearing our glasses will protect you against all those.
How should I use them?
Wear The Blue Busters® glasses at least 120 minutes before bedtime, that leaves you free to watch TV and use devices without ruining your sleep.
Wear them also when working on computers or gaming.
Do you do prescription lenses with blue blocking technology?
No, we do not.
What should I do if I use contact lenses or prescription glasses?
We suggest you use The Blue Busters® glasses on top.
Can I use The Blue Busters® glasses outdoors or while driving?
Our glasses will considerably reduce your low-light vision, do not use them outdoors or while driving.
Can my children wear The Blue Busters® glasses?
Absolutely YES. Now that kids are using more digital devices at home and school starting at a young age, it’s important to protect them from bad blue light as much as possible.
What are The Blue Busters® glasses made of?
We only use the best Acetate (Cellulose Acetate Propionate): A very lightweight plastic, this material is durable and can be made with interesting colors and even with a transparent look. This is a nylon based material.
Advantages: Can be thin. Cool colors and color combos.
Disadvantages: Durable but heavier than other plastic and some metal materials. Expensive.
How do I clean the lenses?
Your lenses are bound to get dirty. Only use the pouch you received with your eyewear for lens cleaning and storage purposes. Avoid wiping your lenses with your shirt, as this will gradually scratch the top coat of the lens. Wiping off a completely dry lens will eventually cause scratches, so make sure to rinse them under water first to remove surface dust and dry with your pouch. Never use solvents, chemicals or third party cleaning kits as they can damage your lens. Do not use your sunglasses inside salty water. Always rinse your lenses after exercise or leisure activities outdoors.
Where do you manufacture your products?
We design all our products in Spain, and we manufacture them either in China or Taiwan under the strictest quality controls.
WARRANTY/ DEFECTS/ REPLACEMENTS
What if I receive a defective product?
If you receive any defective product, send us pictures where the defect is clearly shown, and also some pictures of the temple or arm of the sunglasses where it indicates some numbers so that we can verify it and find a solution for you.
What is covered and not covered under warranty?
All The Blue Busters® eyewear is warranted against breakage due to material or workmanship defect for two years from the date of purchase with a valid Proof of purchase. The Blue Busters® warranty program does not cover scratched lenses. Additionally, any alterations of The Blue Busters® products (The Blue Busters® lenses or frames) will void warranty coverage unless such modification has been done by an authorized dealer, in that case, we will be responsible for defects on the frame only.
For all non-prescription and prescription warranty claims, please contact your original retailer or us directly if you purchased through our website.
